J. Garrett Loveless graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, receiving his MFA in 2013. Studying ceramics, he focused much of his efforts on experimentation with alternate processes, and has always preferred to approach things differently from the norm. Prior to his studies at Edinboro University, he attended Utah Valley University, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in photography, as well as his love of ceramics. His work has been shown in both galleries and fairs, and has won several awards. Recently, Garrett has expanded his artistic interests to include bronze statuary.
Outside of his artistic interests, he enjoys reading, sports, hiking, and spending time with his wife and 2 cats. He currently resides in Draper, Utah.
